Group Food Hygiene Advisor
Part-time, 21 hours per week
We know food hygiene is important to you, and it’s important for us too. That’s why we’ve created this new role to improve on our existing high levels of food safety standards across the Devonshire Group.
You’ll be working with a range of department managers and chefs who will be happy to be coached, supported and guided by you, helping to ensure ongoing compliance and consistency on allergen information and food labelling across all sites.
Using your experience of carrying out audits and inspections, you will also investigate food-related incidents and liaise with managers and chefs on outcomes, corrective actions and work together to prevent future issues.
You will be based at Chatsworth in our friendly Health and Safety team, reporting to our Group H&S manager who will guide and support you in your role. You will have the opportunity to travel regularly across the Group, including monthly trips to our Hotels and Estate in North Yorkshire.
To succeed in this role you will need a minimum of 2 years’ work experience performing audits within a retail, restaurant or food processing environment. A degree or diploma in a food safety related subject is also beneficial.
This is a permanent, part-time role working 21 hours per week to suit you. We envisage this could be 3 full-days or 5 part-days so please state which you would prefer to work when applying.
To apply, please send your CV including salary expectations to hr@chatsworth.org
