£30,756 plus car allowance

Full Time, 37 hours per week

Stroud District Council are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, experienced and fully qualified health and safety professional. If you have a NEBOSH diploma or you are a registered Environmental Health Practitioner (EHRB) with experience in health and safety you could be just the person we need to join our busy Health and Wellbeing Service.

You will be responsible for assisting the Council’s Safety Adviser in providing a reliable health and safety advisory service to senior management within the authority (including staff training) and assist in the coordination and implementation of the Council’s health and safety enforcement activities. 

The Commercial Services Team also deliver a range of other functions (including public health; food safety enforcement and port health) and the post holder may also be given suitable training to enable them to participate in these activities.
