Our client, an authority in East London, has 2 vacancies for Compliance Officers within their Housing Standards / Enforcement team. The roles exist as key support posts and will be focused on helping compile information and data in relation to housing enforcement work. Typical day to day activities will include serving written warnings, statutory and other legal notices, ensuring compliance through warnings / notices, gathering evidence, preparing thorough notes and statements including witness statements and contributing to prosecution reports. You may on occasion be required to give evidence at Court and carry out follow-up visits where informal / formal action has been taken.

The role would be perfectly suited to an Environmental Health graduate who is HHSRS qualified and looking to further their career in a housing enforcement related role. Right now the housing sector is busier than ever and this role will provide the perfect opportunity to increase you knowledge and experience in a pro-active environment that will encourage your development towards managing and monitoring your own caseload.

This particular client has a long history of using contract agency staff for long contracts so contact us now to register your interest. The role will pay around £20-£21/hr (umbrella).
