An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our busy Environmental Health Team. We are a small, friendly Local Authority located in attractive north-west Surrey and within easy access of London.
We are seeking a fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioner (EHORB registered). If you have two years post qualification experience you will be designated a Senior Environmental Health Officer. Additional relevant qualifications would be an advantage.
Working in a small team your role will include health and safety regulation, skin piercing registration, animal welfare licensing and private water supplies. Additionally you will have oversight of the contract for littering and dog fouling enforcement officers. You will need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business use. This post holder will have access to government databases therefore a BPSS check will be taken up for the successful candidate. More information about this check can be found in the extra information pack.
