Our client in the South west is seeking a Senior/experienced Environmental Health Officer to commence January 2019 to deal with environmental protection and enforcement duties.

 

Purpose

 

  • To work with lead professionals across the council to deliver an enforcement regime to tackle environmental health, licensing, anti-social behaviour and assist in the delivery of the community safety agenda
  • To lead a small team responsible for inspecting, monitoring and enforcing of a wide range of environmental health, licensing and antisocial behaviour legislation and support these staff and other professional officers by developing and maintaining procedures for the collection of evidence, interviews under caution and legal case preparation.

    To be considered you should have an Environmental Health degree (or equivalent) and have practical experience in monitoring & handling data.
