Our client, in the North West are looking for a Licensing Officer to carry out enforcement of a range of licensing activities which are the responsibility of the Council (e.g. Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, taxi & private hire drivers and vehicles, street collections, scrap dealers, street trading etc.). You will also be mentoring an existing Officer enabling them to develop the relevant competencies in this field.

The right person will have experience in the above fields within Licensing as well as Preparing and presenting reports for the Licensing Regulatory Committee, Licensing Committee, Sub-Committee meetings and hearings and similar bodies.

If you are successful you will have be offered an initial 12 week contract based on 28 hours per week, with an immediate start. Rates are open for discussion.
