Estates Management Officer
Our client in Bedfordshire is seeking an Estates Management Officer to be the lead officer for all aspects of Tenancy Enforcement, safety and maintenance of estates, including the management of tenancy fraud issues.
- To be the lead officer for all aspects of Estate Management ensuring the Tenancy Conditions are met and that enforcement action is taken where conditions have been breached on a patch of approximately 1,500 properties. As the lead officer you will carry out regular Estate inspections, identifying and reporting on maintenance repairs, Health & Safety issues, and environmental improvements. Action remedial work to resolve urgent problems, i.e. broken glass, abandoned cars, fire hazards in hallways, waste collection issues, litter picking, fly tipping etc. Chase up outstanding repairs and keep residents updated on progress. Liaise with colleagues and Management in identifying and resolving Anti-Social Behavior issues on the estate. To be the lead officer for all tenancy sustainment initiatives on the Estate To be the lead officer for the Investigation and resolution of tenancy issues relating to Anti Social Behaviour, Tenancy assignment, succession and abandonment, including serving of relevant notices.
Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of Housing Legislation, Tenancy Law and Anti Social Behaviour Legislation. Experience with a Local Authority or Housing Association within a Housing Management environment.
