Our client, based in East London are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Manager to assist them for 6-9 months to bring in a private sector housing licensing scheme for properties in multiple occupation. You will work with alongside their staff to implement the 'additional licensing scheme which is expected to go live on the 1st April 2019. This scheme will complement the current selective licensing scheme that they are operating in the Borough - they expect approximately 9,000 properties to be licensed.

In order to be considered they are looking for someone who has a clear understanding of how such schemes operate, are able to produce materials for their website, create communication materials for residents, landlords businesses and tenants. You will also provide training on the scheme to staff so it is imperative you experience in all of the above.

As mentioned, this contract will run for an initial six to nine month period and our client is willing to negotiate on rates. If you are interested please can you send me an updated CV with your rate expectation, hourly or a day rate.
