Our client, based in Devon is looking for an experienced Environmental Health officer. You will be working in both private sector housing and pollution control so it is essential you have experience in both disciplines. Private sector housing team regularly deals with complaints regarding housing standards, empty homes and houses in multiple occupations. The pollution control team deals with a range of public health and nuisance complaints.

In order to be submitted it is absolutely essential that you have experience of working within this field in a local authority setting. A minimum of 2 years is required. You must hold the HHSRS Cert and have an environmental Health Degree.

The Council offers flexible working arrangements and a mileage allowance. Use of your own vehicle will be required. This contract will run until the end of March 2019. Rates can be negotiated.
