An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Licensing practitioner. A midlands-based City Council requires an interim Licensing Policy Manger to lead and manage a small team of Licensing Officers in the processing of applications, permits etc. while reviewing existing, and drafting new licensing policies.

Extensive experience of the Licensing Act 2003 together with experience in writing policy documents and taking them through consultation is essential, as is experience of improving the night time economy offering and generating income by working and liaising with internal and external organisations.

If succseeful, the post will be offered for an initial 6 month period with a day rate between £250 - £300 dependant on experience and skillset.
