Licensing Enforcement Officer
Buckingham Futures have an exciting opportunity in North Wales for an Licensing Enforcement Officer to enforce public protection related legislation namely licensing and environmental crime within the district for which the post holder has relevant experience or qualifications. This will be through inspections, provide advice and education to businesses, members of the public and other parties and investigating complaints and other public protection service enquiries.
Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
a)Approximately 2 years experience of working within an enforcement role in licensing or environmental crime.
b)A detailed knowledge of licensing legislation as well as the use of PACE.
c)Knowledge and experience of information technology and data management systems.
d)Be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
e)Demonstrate empathy with the Welsh Language and culture.
f)Approximately 2 years experience of working in an enforcement field working in either licensing or environmental crime.
g)A detailed knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice and guidance relating to licensing
