Food Alert is a leading safety consultancy and technology firm. Established in 1990, we provide food safety, health & safety and fire safety services, training, compliance and auditing software to businesses across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Our clients operate within a number of sectors including hospitality, retail, leisure, manufacturing and education. They range from small single site businesses through to large multi-site organisations with a global presence.
We work in close partnership with our clients to ensure their businesses meet regulatory requirements, whilst helping them to streamline safety management processes, reduce risk and operational costs.
This is a unique opportunity for an outstanding and driven professional with proven operations management experience, ideally within the hospitality sector, to join our Senior Management Team and make a significant contribution to the success and growth of the business.
The role involves leading a team of 70 consultants and associates and delivering consultancy services to a diverse portfolio of over 900 clients.
You will report to the Managing Director and work closely with other members of the Senior Management Team and office-based Heads of Departments including Finance, IT, Training, Planning & Client Support, Sales and Marketing.
The ideal candidate will be a ‘peoples’ person and team player. They will need to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with directors and senior managers and direct, lead and motivate a talented and diverse group of professionals. A strong customer service ethos with the proven ability to form lasting partnerships with clients is a prerequisite.
