Our client in South London is recruiting for a Lead Environmental Health Officer to lead on projects / specialisms as allocated within the Commercial, Residential/Housing and Pollution/Waste Management areas of work, and for carrying out the full range of functions undertaken within the team.



The work will include leading on routine responses to service requests, statutory nuisance work, including noise. You will also be expected to carry out the full range of duties associated with private sector housing enforcement including HMO'S and HHSRS inspections.



To apply you will need to have recent work experience in a similar capacity, having at least a minimum of two years post qualification experience of pollution and housing enforcement in a Local Authority



You will be expected to manage your own caseload so you will need to be well organised and you will need to be able to work under minimal supervision.



Good communication skills are essential and you must be comfortable dealing with the general public.
