Environmental Health Officer(s) / Higher Certificate Technical Officer(s)
Our client in East London is recruiting for an Environmental Health Officer(s) / Higher Certificate Technical Officer(s) to undertake approximately 500 Broadly compliant food law inspections between April 2018 to March 2019 of risk category B, C, and D premises for food hygiene and broadly compliant inspection category B and C premises for food standards and approximately 100 unrated inspections for Food Hygiene and Food Standards. (each inspection will cover both elements of food law and officers should be qualified and competent in both disciplines) All pre and post inspection data extraction and input will completed by the client.
All of the premises will be geographically grouped and the full list will be provided at the commencement of the contract.
To be considered you must hold one of the baseline qualifications, and have associated registration. The base line qualifications are Higher Certificate in Food Control or certificate of registration or Diploma issued by Environmental Health Registration Board.
The Inspecting Officer must be able to demonstrate how they are capable of meeting the competencies relating to Inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4.) and have at least 10 hours of Food Core CPD as specified in the current version of the Food Law Code of Practice and Practice Guidance.
A copy of relevant qualifications, CPD certificates and certificates of registration with EHORB/EHRB (or equivalent) must be held on file by Buckingham Futures before the contract commences.
