Buckingham Futures have an exciting opportunity in East London for a Traveller Liaison Officer.

Principal Responsibilities of this Role Include:

Supporting in the day to day management of Traveller sites (housing management type role).

Updating and collating information regarding rent accounts, and preparing rent letters.

Health & Safety inspections.

Dealing with new pitch applications.

Dealing with issues arising on site, including non-compliance/ breaches of tenancy, and reviewing and recording these matters.

Dealing with Repairs and Maintenance.

Keeping accurate tenant file notes.

Liaising with multi agencies.

Mediating disputes and working with residents on a day to day basis.

Dealing with unauthorised encampments across the partnership area (enforcement role).

Undertaking welfare assessments.

Serving legal notices.

Preparing paperwork / file for court.

To be considered you must have experience of enforcement including the service of legal notices and prosecutions along with have knowledge of current inter/national laws, regulations, policies, procedures, trends, and developments, specifically around provision for Travellers of all cultures.
