Our client in Cambridgeshire are looking for a Licensing Manager to support the Operational Manager in overall responsibility of the team whilst concentrating on managing the Licensing Team. You will be responsible for the operational management of the Licensing Team and the development and provision of services as well as Council's licensing functions, including the sale and supply of alcohol, regulated entertainment, late night refreshment, taxis and private hire, betting, gaming, street trading, sex establishments, charitable collections, hypnotism and other miscellaneous activities.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience as a licensing officer or similar public protection service while also being able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of the legislation relevant to the licensing functions and detailed knowledge of investigatory procedures including RIPA and PACE.

We have a full JD available and if interested, you will be offered an initial 3 month contract with a possibility of extension. The client is happy to see rates with CVs so they can see what they get for their money.
