Environmental Health Practitioner - Pollution/Public Health
Our client, based in East Midlands is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Environmental Health Practitioner for a temporary placement between January 2018 and 31st March 2018. This is to work in the Environmental Protection team to investigate complaints and undertake enforcement responsibilities relating to environmental protection (including noise and pest control complaints etc.), anti-social behaviour and environmental crime.
Our client requires someone who can hit the ground running; therefore it is imperative that you have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within this field in a local authority setting. Ideally they also require someone who has experience of using the powers under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, including the
service of Community Protection Notices.
This is a full time post, working 37 hours per week. Rates will be from £28+ and can be negotiable.
