Hull, currently UK City of Culture 2017, is a vibrant, rapidly changing city which presents excellent opportunities for both work and leisure. 

We are looking for two experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officers. One to work in our Environmental Regulation Section dealing with Industrial Permits, Contaminated Land and providing expert comment on planning applications and one to work in our Food Safety Team dealing with retail premises, covering business advice , food hygiene inspection, infectious disease control and investigation of food complaints.

Experience, Qualification and any mandatory requirements

  • Qualified Environmental Health Officer
  • Have EHORB registration
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Acoustics (Env Regulation Post only) (Desirable but not essential) 
  • Food Competent as defined by the FSA Code of Practice (Food Post only)

You will be an excellent communicator and capable of using your own initiative and working with minimum supervision.
