Environmental Health Officer (HMO Inspections)
Our local authority client in East London requires an Environmental Health Officer to undertake HMO Inspections and residential complaint work.
You will liaise with tenants, landlords, and other agencies, and have the opportunity and support to use the range of powers available to you to improve the housing standards and living conditions of some of the most vulnerable people in the community.
In order to qualify you will have to demonstrate that you have good housing enforcement skills as you will be dealing with problematic landlords.
You must either hold the EHORB certificate or have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within this field whilst also holding the HHSRS certificate.
