Salary: F-H (£24,174 - £33,437) depending on professional status and experience.
Full Time, 37 hours per week
Location: Byron House, Maid Marian Way, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG1 6HS.

This post is in our Environmental Health and Safer Places team providing a range of environmental protection services, including PPC permitting, investigating and resolving statutory nuisances (including complex noise nuisance), and complaints about dangerous, derelict and empty structures and homes. The team also contributes significantly to the planning and licensing processes.

• Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health
• Registration as an Environmental Health Officer in England - candidates who can demonstrate that they are actively working on registration and will complete within a reasonable period will be considered but would be appointed as a Graduate Officer (see Job Description below) on a lower pay grade.
• The ability to pass and maintain Police vetting (non Police Personnel Vetting)
Starting salary is £31,601 rising to £33,437 (EHO) and £24,174 rising to £25,951 (Graduate).
