EHO - Housing - PERM
The team they would be working in is for Private Sector Housing. EHO's in this team get to work across the whole remit and do a little of everything, such as; proactive and reactive enforcement in housing, we do proactive projects such has working with the Fire Service etc. HMO proactive and reactive work and mandatary licensing, Park Homes, returning empty homes into use via grants, schemes or enforcement such as CPO's, Fifthly and Verminous properties, Illegal encampments, both mandatary (DFG) and discretionary grants to help people stay in the homes.
The EHO salary grade is split into 2 and depends on their level of experience. The client does consider newly qualified EHO's and sets up training development programmes to help them. Lower grade is £29,239 - £30,674 progressing to upper grade is £32,422 - £34,467 per annum. The standard hours per week is 37 and they do operate a flexible working system also and is currently developing agile working for next year.
