We have an exciting opportunity for Air Quality Projects Officer to deliver and maintain projects to facilitate the assessment of improvement of air quality in relation to the Greater Cambridge City Deal.

You will provide local air quality information and analysis to support the development of transport interventions for the Greater Cambridge Partnership, ensuring that interventions are adequately assessed for impacts on Air Quality. You will use your previous experience of managing projects to deliver the projects on budget and using the resources available to you.

A key part of the role will be to carry out a feasibility study for the implementation of a Clean Air Zone in Cambridge, along with an implementation plan, establishing and consolidating baseline air quality data for Cambridge and to establish likely impacts of City Deal funded transport interventions on local air quality.

You will join us with a good knowledge of the law and guidance relating to Air Quality and transport and experience of assimilating a range of complex technical information and relating it to a non-technical audience. Experience of partnership working across a range of stakeholders and the ability communicate well at all levels are essential, along with the ability to negotiate and influence to achieve service outcomes. Holding a project management qualification is desirable, however, as long as you hold relevant experience of delivering a range of projects to the specified quality, in budget and on time we want to hear from you.
