Opportunities are now available to join the Food and Safety Team at Lewisham as the Environmental Health Service expands.

The role

As a London Borough, Lewisham is busy, thriving and diverse. Currently going through major redevelopment and regeneration across the borough, the Food and Safety Team needs a further three enthusiastic and highly motivated EHOs/Food Safety Officers to work alongside the existing motivated team members. The workload is varied and the Service is working towards more flexible working through technology.

We are seeking officers to work covering the regulatory areas of Food Safety, Health and Safety, Infectious Disease Control, Special Treatment licensing and Public Health. Where candidates do not have experience in all of these areas – training and assistance will be given to the successful new members of the team.
