Our client in East London is looking for a Regeneration Project Manager to start immediately.




l To be Responsible for the effective management of staff to deliver services that will achieve continuous improvement of the Council.

l To actively contribute to Council-wide and directorate initiatives that will achieve and implement the Mayor’s priorities and corporate objectives.

l To be responsible for contributing to the effective management, development and delivery of the Council’s Regeneration Programmes.

l The physical, economic and social regeneration of the Borough, ensuring development maximises value for money, is sustainable and of highest quality.

l Contributing to the leadership and development of strategic and detailed Housing Regeneration Programmes. In particular to be responsible for leading on specific development projects and ensuring value for money and the effective use of Council land and buildings.

l To apply new and innovative ways of doing things, recognising and promoting the positive benefit of change to improve services and achieve goals.

l To work with colleagues across the Council, in partnership with residents, and the selected partner developer(s), to co-ordinate delivery of one or more major regeneration schemes.


Person Specification


l Wide experience of leadership within housing, property, development or urban regeneration either within a local authority or in the private sector.

l Track record of achieving demonstrable results from developing and delivering significant urban regeneration projects.

l Experience of working in partnership with partners and stakeholders to facilitate delivery of complex redevelopment and regeneration schemes.

l Membership of the chartered Institute of Housing

l Degree and/or post graduate qualification.
