Our local authority client in South East London requires an Environmental Health Officer / Technical Officers to undertake residential complaints work. You will liaise with tenants, landlords, and other agencies, and have the opportunity and support to use the range of powers available to you to improve the housing standards and living conditions of some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

In order to qualify you will have to demonstrate that you have good housing enforcement skills as you will be dealing with problematic landlords. You must either hold the EHORB certificate or have a minimum of 2-3 years experience within this field whilst also holding the HHSRS certificate. Candidates must have UK driving licence and have use of their own car.

Our client may also be able to consider candidates who have less then 2 years experience and are looking for that much needed opportunity to work within a busy environment within this sector, all they ask is that you hold the HHSRS and have some experience within this remit.

The client is offering rates from £24 p/h to £28 p/h depending upon experience and qualifications. Rates will differ for those who do not meet the 2-3 years requirement. Our client require someone who can start ASAP, the contract will run for an initial 3 month period and will probably roll onto March 2018
