Buckingham Futures have an excellent opportunity for a Licensing Team Leader in Oxfordshire.

 

Our client requires an experienced, forward thinking professional to join their successful and dynamic Licensing Team.

 

To manage the Licensing team providing a comprehensive service to ensure the Councils meet their responsibilities concerned with the licensing of premises and persons, gambling, vehicles, drivers and other relevant licensing functions.

 

This post is responsible for co-managing the Council’s Licensing function and staff, taking a leadership role in the administration of the Licensing Team and providing high level support to the Council’s Licensing committees.

 

The post works to ensure public protection in the achievement of Licensing objectives and standards. We are committed to working supportively with local businesses to help ensure not only consumer confidence and safety, but also a positive business environment.

 

Our client is looking for candidates who have solid UK practical training, knowledge and experience of Licensing functions relating to Local Government and in particular to the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, Private Hire Licenses, charitable street collection permits, and miscellaneous licensing (including scrap metal dealers).
