Our client, based in East London are looking for a environmental health technical officer to support the Air Quality Officer to deliver the 'Mayors Air Quality Fund' funded Zero Emissions Network Expansion (ZEN E) programme. The post holder will engage and enable small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Spitalfields area to take action to reduce their negative impacts on air quality as well as other related environmental impacts. You will be required to visit premises and assist with giving out grants to increase air quality in the borough.

In order to be considered you must have good knowledge of legislation, policy and practice on air quality, transport, carbon reduction in relation to the SME (or equivalent) sector. You must also have the ability to undertake air quality, transport, energy and environmental inspections, surveys and audits.

This contract is due to start on 16th October and will run until the end of January 2018. Rates will be from £19 per hour.
