An opportunity has arisen to job share the leadership, technical management and development of Fenland Council’s Environmental Health and Streetscene Services. The current job holder is seeking a job share partner.

The role is broad and varied incorporating environmental health, licensing compliance, environmental enforcement and community volunteering. The breadth of work will provide an excellent opportunity to enhance and develop your management skills in services wider than pure environmental health.

Every day is different and brings opportunity to be involved with Council wide projects including transformation and change projects.

The candidate will be a qualified Environmental Health Officer with Environmental Health Officer Board Registration, experience of managing people, services and projects. Ideally you will hold a management qualification.

You will need to be well organised, possess a good knowledge of environmental health practice including enforcement processes, respond to issues quickly and with sound judgement.

You will be working in a Council that is focussed on improving the lives of people living in Fenland, encouraging a thriving local economy and providing excellent customer service.
