We are looking for 2 highly motivated forward thinking Environmental Health Practitioners who are problem solvers; with technical service expertise who can communicate a vision of success and generate new ways of working, and commercial ideas into reality.

• A qualified and experienced EHP to work closely with the Business Team Operational Manager to deliver the food safety service and be a key player in the development of Primary Authority agreements and commercial activities. Experience of undertaking RIDDOR investigations will be an advantage. The role will also include acting as a statutory consultee on behalf of the team for planning applications as well as carrying out a range of investigations in response to nuisance complaints or queries from residents and other stakeholders primarily focussing on businesses. As part of the EH&L team, you will also be involved in dealing with infectious diseases, public health funerals, PPC and regulation of licensed premises e.g. public houses, zoos, animal boarding establishments, piercing, tattooing and riding establishments.
• A qualified and experienced EHP to work closely with the Communities Team Operational Manager to deliver a range of community and housing related regulation. As a qualified EHO you will have knowledge in the areas of nuisance, drainage and anti-social behaviour along with excellent knowledge and experience in Private Sector Housing including licensing of HMO’s and caravan sites. This role will also include acting as a statutory consultee on behalf of the team for planning applications as well as carrying out a range of investigations in response ASB complaints, neighbour disputes and partnership working with other stakeholders.
