The Public Protection Partnership (PPP), a joint service between Bracknell Forest Council, West Berkshire Council and Wokingham Borough Council formed in January 2017. It delivers focussed and high quality environmental health, trading standards and licensing service to some 470,000 residents and over 10,000 businesses.

Service delivery is based on the National Intelligence Model. Investigation of criminal breaches ranging from unfair trading to major fraud matters is a significant part of our work. This is supported by an intelligence function and case management team.

We are now looking for an Environmental Health Officer to join our Commercial Team. The successful candidate will be fully competent in the enforcement of Food Safety and Health and Safety. Additionally you will need a good knowledge of the framework covering investigations including CPIA and PACE. You will also be a strong communicator and a good team player. In return we can offer a role with prospects of career development working for one of the largest Public Protection Services in the South East.

The post will based at one of three offices to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
