Our client in Berkshire are looking for an EHO to work in a busy Local Authority. You will be asked to enforce procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. The role will include inspection of premises, advice, following up complaints/ accidents, monitoring standards and taking enforcement action, giving evidence in cases which come to court, keeping records and writing reports. The client is looking for a generalist EHO who has experience (throughout their career, not necessarily recently) of working within Food (don't have to be food competent now), Housing (don't have to hold the HHSRS certificate but would help) and Pollution (stat nuisance work).
The client is a covering maternity leave and the person leaving is a generalist who could cover many disciplines so the client would like to have as many of these covered as possible.
You will be offered at 6 month contract initially and you will be paid £30PH LTD.
