Our client, based in South London are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Enforcement Officer to carry out environmental enforcement activity across the borough including (but not limited to), fly-tipping, littering, dog fouling, unlicensed street trading, commercial waste enforcement, enforcement of Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO). You will also be expected to carry out duties outside of normal office hours (21 hours per month).

Our client requires someone who has Knowledge of relevant current issues affecting community safety and local government in London with at least one year experience in a similar front-line environmental enforcement, Consumer Protection or regulatory enforcement role. You must also have sound working knowledge of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, Criminal Procedure & Investigations Act 1996 and the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.
You will also need to hold a full, manual UK driving licence with no more then 6 points.

The contract will run for 3 months and rates will be between £19-£21 per hour Ltd. A full JD is available upon request.
