Commercial Team Manager

£53,240 to £60,870 per annum inclusive of all allowances

(depending on performance/experience)

A rare opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Environmental Health professional to join this unique local authority, protecting and enhancing the City of London, the world’s pre-eminent financial centre and one of the world’s most exciting locations.

For many years the City of London Corporation has been acknowledged by its peers as a leading authority in the key field of Health & Safety and we wish to continue this, engaging a dynamic individual to take this forward as well as managing a team delivering the full range of “Commercial” Environmental Health enforcement activities across an area of the Square Mile.

In this role you will:

• Manage Food Safety and Health & Safety regulation, enforcement and the provision of business advice, including Primary Authority Partnerships in accordance with our current Business and Service Plans.

• Act as the Lead Officer for Health & Safety Enforcement for the authority.

• Act as Lead Officer for our Public Mortuary provision and our Disaster Mortuary Plan.
