Waltham Forest is one of only four London Boroughs to have introduced the borough-wide Selective Licensing and we are using the scheme to combat ASB associated with the private rented sector and to drive up property standards through a strong enforcement ethos. The appointed Service Manager, Private Sector Housing and Planning Enforcement, will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing policy in their area, having line management responsibility for teams dealing with ASB and housing/planning enforcement, and defining the Regulatory Service offer for businesses. They will also play a key role in ensuring that their service is fully commercial, maximising income generation and exhausting external funding streams.

We are looking for motivated and dedicated officers with a demonstrable commitment to top quality regulatory services, with relevant qualifications and/or experience
