Pollution and Nuisance Officer
Our Local Authority client based in Yorkshire is currently recruiting for an Pollution and Nuisance Officer to work as part of the Environmental Health Service, responding to and investigating complaints relating to pollution and statutory nuisance such as noise, odour, dust and related issues to start asap initially for 2 months.
The work will include routine responses to service requests, statutory nuisance work, including noise.
To apply you will need to have recent work experience in a similar capacity, having at least a minimum of two years post qualification experience of pollution enforcement in a Local Authority.
You will be expected to manage your own caseload so you will need to be well organised and you will need to be able to work under minimal supervision.
Good communication skills are essential and you must be comfortable dealing with the general public.
You must have a driving license and access to car for work purposes.
