Environmental Protection Officer
Our local authority client, based in Kent is looking for an Environmental Protection Officer to work in their pollution team. They require someone who is extremely proficient in Air Quality, Environmental Permitting, Planning and Licensing Applications. As a member of the team you will be asked to initiate enforcement action, where necessary, relating to infringements of relevant legislation (Environmental Protection Act 1990).
Our client requires someone who can hit the ground running and as such, you will need a minimum of working 2+ years within this field for a local authority. It would be desirable if you are EHORB registered but not an essential requirement.
The contract will run for 3 months, starting from 14th August 2017 rates are currently to be determined but can be negotiated from £29+ Our client does require someone who is available on a full time basis but is willing to be flexible allowing you to work some from home.
