Environmental Health Officer (Commercial)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Health Officer to join our client in Cambs to work within their Environmental Health (Commercial) team.
The team is primarily responsible for the enforcement of health and safety and food laws.
The role of the team is to protect public health through the enforcement of relevant laws and by supporting businesses to achieve good standards of legal compliance and best practice.

This multi-disciplinary role requires a committed and flexible officer to contribute to delivering the team's range of functions. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a variety of duties. These will include food hygiene and standards inspections, the sampling of food, water and environment, health and safety inspections and project work, investigating complaints and accidents, infectious disease control, responding to requests for advice and providing guidance and support to businesses, members of the public and other relevant agencies.
You must have an Environmental Health Degree/Diploma and EHRB Registration (or equivalent)
Current experience of working in health and safety and food enforcement is essential.
Rate £28.00 - £31.00 per hour
