Environmental Protection Officer

£23,166 - £27,394

An Environmental Protection Officer is required in the Neighbourhoods Team. The role is varied and includes private sector rented housing regulation (pro-active inspections of rented properties, including houses in multiple occupation (HMOs), caravan site licensing); nuisance; dog fouling and control; and envirocrime (fly tipping; littering; area action). The role is specialist and requires current or previous knowledge or other relevant regulatory experience. We will consider applications from others who believe that they have skills which could meet the needs to the role.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference for issues our residents are really concerned about.

For an informal discussion about this role, please call David Burrows, our Regulatory Services Manager, on 01788 533 806, or Verna Zinclair, our Principal Environmental Health Officer - Neighbourhoods Team, on 01788 533 858.
